1. Drain waste engine oil
First, drain the waste oil from the fuel tank, place an old oil container under the oil pan, open the oil drain bolt, and drain the waste oil. When draining the oil, try to let the oil drip for a period of time to ensure that the waste oil is discharged clean. The use of engine oil can generate a lot of impurities. If the discharge is not clean during replacement, it is easy to block the oil circuit, resulting in poor fuel supply and wear of structural components.

2. Remove the old oil filter element
Move the old oil container under the machine filter and remove the old filter element. Be careful not to let waste oil dirty the inside of the machine.

3. Preparation work before installing the oil filter element
There are two installation methods for the oil filter element, the common one is vertical installation, and many small digging machine filters are horizontally installed. The installation method is different, so there are two ways to fill the oil: first, for the vertically installed oil filter, it is connected to the oil pump through a fuel pipe. This installation method generally recommends users to replace the oil filter and fill the filter with oil. If the new oil filter is not filled with oil, there will be air resistance inside the new filter element, which will cause a short period of lack of oil lubrication inside the machine when driving, leading to wear of structural components. The advantage of vertical installation is that the filter element has better sealing and there is rarely oil leakage.

4. Install a new oil filter element
Check the oil outlet at the installation position of the oil filter element, clean the dirt and residual waste oil on it. Before installation, first put a sealing ring on the oil outlet position, and then slowly tighten the new oil filter. Be careful not to tighten the oil filter too tightly. Generally, tighten it by hand and then use a wrench to tighten it by 3/4 turns. When installing a new filter element, be careful not to use a wrench to tighten it too hard, otherwise it is easy to damage the sealing ring inside the filter element, resulting in poor sealing effect and ineffective filtration!

5. Add new engine oil to the oil tank
Finally, inject new engine oil into the oil tank, and if necessary, use a funnel to prevent the oil from pouring out of the engine. After refueling, check again for any leaks in the lower part of the engine. If there is no leakage, check the oil dipstick to see if the oil has been added to the upper line. We recommend adding it to the upper line. In daily work, everyone should also regularly check the oil dipstick. If the oil level is less than the offline level, it should be replenished in a timely manner.
